Naruto hurriedly rushes back to the village. Meanwhile Hotaru’s uncle shows her to her romm where she is ambushed by the four bandits and succeed in taking but realize it was rigged with a trap. Hotaru escapes into the forest but is attacked by the bandits, suddenly Utakata saves and escapes with Hotaru. The bandit’s leader shows up and shows them the Hidden Mist’s bingo book where Utakata is being hunted for 50 million ryo. Utakata and Hotaru land in a secluded place where Hotaru shows him something on her body. Suddenly Hidden Mist tracker ninja attack Utakata and kidnap Hotaru, the ninja tell Hotaru that Utakata killed his former master, Naruto soon arrives with Yamato and Sai.
